Deepening China-Nigeria Agriculture and Livestock Cooperation to Forge a Blueprint for Food Security – Nigerian Ambassador to China Visits AGRIFAM Huinong for Exchange and Inspection

On August 6, His Excellency Lt. Gen. (Rtd) A. B. Dambazau, Nigerian Ambassador to China, led a delegation to visit AGRIFAM Huinong. Mr. Dai Jun, Chairman of AGRIFAM Huinong, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. The two sides held in-depth discussions on topics including agricultural and livestock equipment, grain storage, feed industry, and the development of entire agricultural industry chains, exploring new opportunities for China-Nigeria agricultural cooperation.

The delegation first toured the AGRIFAM Huinong exhibition hall and the digitalized smart production workshop, gaining hands-on insights into the company's R&D, manufacturing, and intelligent application capabilities in grain storage, complete feed equipment sets, and integrated food processing solutions. The company systematically presented its full-chain technological achievements and typical project practices for the global market. The delegation inquired in detail about equipment technical specifications, project delivery models, and localization adaptation solutions, and spoke highly of AGRIFAM Huinong's comprehensive strength in the global agricultural equipment sector.

During the symposium, Ambassador Dambazau first noted Nigeria's immense potential for agricultural development. Building on that, AGRIFAM Huinong, drawing on its years of project experience in the African market, shared cooperative pathways and practical implementations in technology transfer and talent development, targeting Nigeria's practical needs in food security and agricultural and livestock industry upgrading. With its complete industrial solutions and extensive overseas implementation track record, AGRIFAM Huinong is well aligned with Nigeria's agricultural modernization aspirations. The Embassy will fully leverage its bridging role to actively facilitate connections between AGRIFAM Huinong and Nigerian government agencies and local enterprises, helping bring high-quality agricultural and livestock equipment and technologies to Nigeria and deepening bilateral agricultural trade and economic cooperation.

Both sides agreed that under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative and China-Africa cooperation, there is vast room for collaboration in the agricultural sector.
