AGRIFAM Successfully Organizes the China (Xinjiang Bozhou)-Kazakhstan Agricultural Industry Exchange and Negotiation Conference!

The "China (Xinjiang Bozhou)-Kazakhstan Agricultural Industry Exchange and Negotiation Conference", hosted by the Bortala Chamber of Commerce of the China Chamber of International Commerce and the Grain Union of Kazakhstan and organized by Agrifam Co., Ltd., opened on June 5, 2024, in Bole Museum. Over 70 Kazakh agricultural enterprises and more than 80 relevant enterprises from within and outside Xinjiang participated. Bayin Kexi, Deputy Party Secretary and Governor of Bozhou, and Du Yingkun, Deputy Governor, attended the event.

Wan Xiangyu, Vice President of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Nurzhan Kelbuganov, Deputy Chairman of the Railway and Water Transport Committee of the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Nurlan Ospanov, Chairman of the Grain Union of Kazakhstan, and relevant leaders from the Grain and Material Reserve Bureau and the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region were also invited to attend the conference.

At the opening ceremony, Bayin Kexi delivered a speech on behalf of the Party Committee and Government of Bozhou, as well as people of all ethnic groups across Bozhou, extending a warm welcome to domestic and foreign guests attending the event. He also expressed heartfelt gratitude to AGRIFAM for its significant contributions in facilitating the successful convening of this conference.

Subsequently, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau of Bozhou made a promotion on investment attraction centered around the modernization of agricultural industries. Meanwhile, some Chinese and Kazakh agricultural enterprises also conducted promotional presentations. Currently, Bozhou is firmly positioned to become a golden corridor between Asia and Europe and an important gateway for opening up to the West. As a staunch practitioner of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, AGRIFAM fully leverages the geographical advantages of Alashankou as a crucial node on the Silk Road Economic Belt and a core hub for Euro-Asian economic and trade exchanges. It has invested in and constructed a grain silo steel structure machinery equipment processing and manufacturing project in Alashankou. Relying on the production advantages of AGRIFAM in Alashankou, it further drives markets in Central Asia and surrounding areas of Xinjiang. To deeply promote high-level opening up, facilitate channels for foreign cooperation, deepen economic and trade exchanges and cooperation, and accelerate integration into and service the construction of the core area of the Silk Road Economic Belt, AGRIFAM has played a significant role in driving cooperation with Kazakhstan and other regions surrounding Xinjiang on the journey of jointly building the "Belt and Road".

At the end of the opening ceremony, AGRIFAM Co., Ltd. signed strategic cooperation agreements with two Kazakh companies, adding another fruitful outcome to the realization of mutual benefit and win-win results at this conference.

In the afternoon, both sides held a symposium for exchanges and docking, exchanging views on matters of common concern, such as establishing agricultural industry cooperation mechanisms, increasing plans for bulk grain wagon allocations, and optimizing import and export procedures for agricultural products. Other Chinese and Kazakh enterprises jointly visited the agricultural industry exhibition area and engaged in on-site exchanges and negotiations, with multiple enterprises reaching preliminary cooperation intentions.

At the welcome dinner that day, both the Chinese and Kazakh sides expressed that they had gained a lot from the day's agenda. In his dinner speech, Dai Jun, Chairman of AGRIFAM, mentioned that this negotiation conference had given us even greater confidence in the prospects for agricultural cooperation and development between Bozhou, Xinjiang, China, and Kazakhstan. With the continuous advancement of the "Belt and Road" Initiative and the deepening of local cooperation between Xinjiang and Kazakhstan, we look forward to jointly witnessing a new chapter in agricultural exchanges and cooperation in Central Asia.
